ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a serious heart condition called electrical storm, where dangerous irregular heartbeats happen repeatedly. These irregular beats can range from less severe types, which can be controlled with special heart treatments, to very severe ones that can cause life-threatening problems. The study aims to understand how often people survive long-term after being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) for this condition, and what factors might affect their chances of survival.

The trial is open to all adults who have been admitted to the ICU with any type of dangerous irregular heartbeat related to this condition. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who qualify will have their health outcomes reviewed to help doctors learn more about the best ways to care for patients with electrical storm. This information could guide future treatments and improve survival for people facing this serious heart problem.
