ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the health needs of women who are dealing with drug addiction. Since women make up a smaller portion of people with addiction and often face unique challenges—especially during pregnancy or when caring for young children—this study aims to learn more about their specific health issues and the kind of care they need. At Strasbourg University Hospitals, a special midwifery consultation has been set up just for women, where healthcare providers work closely with them to better support their treatment.
Women who are 18 years or older and currently receiving care at the hospital’s addiction department may be eligible to participate, as long as they have met with the midwife at least once and have not objected to their medical data being used for research. Participants can expect to continue their usual treatment while also receiving support tailored to women’s unique needs. This study is still open and looking for women who want to help improve addiction care for women in the future.
