ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether ozone therapy—a treatment that uses a special form of oxygen—can help women with endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it and causes pain. The trial aims to see if ozone therapy can reduce pelvic pain and improve quality of life. It will also compare two imaging methods, ultrasound and infrared thermography (a technique that uses heat patterns to look at the body), to see how well they work in tracking changes during treatment.
Women between 25 and 45 years old who have been diagnosed with endometriosis through an ultrasound or vaginal exam may be eligible to join. However, women who are pregnant, have certain health conditions like infections (HIV or hepatitis), cancer, a history of endometrial surgery, or other specific health concerns will not be able to participate. If you join, you can expect to have several treatment sessions and imaging tests before, during, and after the therapy, as well as complete a questionnaire about your quality of life to see how the treatment affects you. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it hopes to provide new options for managing endometriosis symptoms.
