ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new, easier way to monitor important heart and breathing signs without needing wires or cuffs. Normally, devices that check things like blood oxygen, blood pressure, and pulse can be uncomfortable and hard to use, especially for children or patients who have trouble staying still. This study is testing a camera-based method that can measure these vital signs just by looking at subtle changes in light on the skin, called remote photoplethysmography (rPPG). The goal is to use smart computer programs to make these camera readings more accurate, so monitoring can be simpler and more comfortable for patients.
Adults over 18 who have a known medical condition and can follow instructions to help record their vital signs may be eligible to join. Participants will have their heart rate, oxygen levels, and blood pressure recorded using this new camera method. This information will help improve the technology. If you join, you can expect a non-invasive and contactless way to have your vital signs monitored, which could make care easier in the future. Patients who cannot give consent won’t be able to participate.
