Convergence Insufficiency Postural Control Clinical Trial

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether a special type of eye exercise called oculomotor therapy can help people who have convergence insufficiency, a condition where the eyes have trouble working together when looking at close objects. The goal is to see if these exercises improve how well the eyes focus and work as a team.

People who might be eligible to join are adults between 18 and 60 years old who have been diagnosed with convergence insufficiency. Participants should be physically active, without memory or thinking problems, and should not have issues with balance or dizziness. Certain health conditions, like Parkinson’s disease, stroke, or ongoing physical therapy, would exclude someone from joining. If accepted, participants can expect to take part in eye exercises designed to improve their eye coordination. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to offer helpful information for those struggling with this eye condition.
