ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different computer programs that use artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors make better decisions when diagnosing and treating patients. One program, called OpenEvidence, searches through medical research to provide information, while the other, GPT-4, uses a type of AI that understands and generates human-like text. The study wants to find out which tool is more helpful for doctors when they think through patient cases and decide on the best care.
Doctors who are either training in internal medicine (called residents) or fully practicing internal medicine doctors can join the study. Participants will use these AI tools while working through medical cases, and researchers will observe how these tools affect their decision-making. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s designed to better understand how AI can support doctors in everyday medical care.
