ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at a special type of learning called service-learning, where university students not only study but also work directly with local community groups to help with real-life food education projects. The goal is to see how this hands-on approach helps students build their skills, feel more satisfied with their learning, and develop a stronger sense of responsibility toward their community. The project involves students designing and running small food education sessions while working closely with local organizations and the people they serve.
The study is open to students enrolled in a specific course called Food Education Strategies at the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia. Online students or those who don’t want to join won’t be part of the research. Participants can expect to take part in the learning activities and then share their thoughts and experiences through surveys at the end. The information collected will help improve how these community projects are run in the future, benefiting both students and the local groups involved.
