ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how physiotherapists use a tool called the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS) to help them think through and record the treatments they provide during rehabilitation. The RTSS is designed to make it clearer how therapy is planned and delivered. Previous work showed that while therapists improved their clinical thinking with the RTSS, many found it hard to actually use it in their everyday documentation. This study aims to understand what makes it easier or harder for physiotherapists to adopt the RTSS in their notes, so future training and support can be improved.
Physiotherapists who work regularly at Guy’s & St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and have tried using the RTSS in their documentation may be eligible to take part. If you join, you’ll take part in a one-hour interview over Microsoft Teams where you can share your experiences and thoughts about using the RTSS. The information collected will help researchers find better ways to support physiotherapists in using this tool, ultimately aiming to improve patient care.
