Urinary Incontinence App Treatment

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how well a smartphone app called Tät®II works to help women manage urgency and mixed urinary incontinence—conditions where you suddenly feel the need to urinate or have both sudden urges and leaks related to stress. The study wants to see if using this app after visiting a regular healthcare provider is a practical and effective way to treat these symptoms. Women who join the study will use the app for 15 weeks and will be asked to complete online surveys about their symptoms before starting, right after finishing the treatment, and again one year later to see how they’re doing over time.

To be part of the study, you need to be a woman aged 18 or older who has been diagnosed with urgency or mixed urinary incontinence by a regular doctor. You also need to have signed a consent form agreeing to participate. The study is not open to women who are pregnant, have given birth in the last six months, have painful urges, difficulty emptying their bladder, blood in their urine, or need further medical tests for their incontinence. If you join, you’ll mainly be using the app at home and sharing how your symptoms change through online questionnaires. This study is still recruiting participants, so if this sounds like something that might help you, you could consider talking to your healthcare provider about it.
