ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping the Mongolian community living in France by checking for three types of viral hepatitis infections—hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and hepatitis D. These infections can quietly damage the liver over time and may lead to serious problems like liver cancer or liver scarring if not found and treated early. Because many people with these infections don’t have obvious symptoms, the study aims to screen individuals to find those who might be affected and then connect them with the care and treatment they need to stay healthy.
To join the study, you need to be of Mongolian background, at least 15 years old, and living in France. People already being treated for hepatitis or under certain legal protections cannot participate. If you take part, you’ll be screened for these infections, and if needed, you’ll be offered support to manage your health. This study is important because it helps improve access to care for a community that may face challenges in getting screened and treated, helping to prevent serious liver diseases down the line.
