ClinConnect Summary
This study is testing a computer-based memory training program called E-MinD Life, designed to help older adults improve their memory and daily functioning. The program uses simple strategies to make it easier to remember everyday tasks. It is especially aimed at healthy older adults, those who have noticed some memory problems, and people with mild cognitive impairment (which means they have more memory issues than usual for their age, but not dementia). The goal is to see if this program can help slow down memory and thinking difficulties.
To join the study, participants need to be 65 years or older and fit into one of these groups: healthy without memory problems, have memory complaints, or have mild cognitive impairment. People with depression or other health issues that affect thinking are not eligible. If you take part, you will use the E-MinD Life program on a computer, which focuses on memory strategies related to everyday activities. The study is currently recruiting participants and is open to all genders. This is a pilot study, meaning it’s an early test to see how well the program works and if it is easy for people to use.
