ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how well a special type of imaging test called computed tomography angiography (or CTA) measures an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which is a bulging or swelling in the large blood vessel that runs through your belly. The researchers are collecting and reviewing CTA scan results from people who have this condition and who come to the hospital as inpatients, emergency patients, or outpatients.
If you are between 65 and 74 years old, have been diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm, and have had a CTA scan at the hospital, you might be eligible to join this study. The study is currently recruiting participants and includes all genders. If you agree to participate, your existing CTA scan data will be used to help researchers understand how well this test measures the aneurysm. There are no extra tests or treatments involved, and people who don’t want to participate or have missing medical information won’t be included. This study aims to improve how doctors track and treat this condition in the future.
