ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well certain traditional and complementary therapies work for patients with chronic diseases while they stay in the hospital in Germany. These therapies include things like gentle exercise, herbal treatments, special diets, relaxation techniques, and heat treatments. The study will take place at three hospitals and aims to understand how these combined approaches, which are sometimes covered by health insurance, affect patients during their hospital stay.
To take part, patients need to be starting their inpatient treatment with these therapies at one of the three hospitals and be able to give written permission to join the study. People who have trouble with language, serious memory or thinking problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are already in another clinical study cannot join. Participants can expect to receive the usual care that includes these complementary treatments, and researchers will carefully watch how these therapies help during the hospital stay to improve care for future patients.
