ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help identify sarcopenia, which is a condition where muscles become weak and smaller, often affecting older adults. The study uses a simple questionnaire called SARC-F, which participants will complete using a mobile phone app. This helps to check the risk of sarcopenia in people aged 60 and older.

If you are over 60 years old and have a mobile phone, you might be eligible to join, whether or not you have a caregiver to help you. Participants will be asked to agree to take part, sign a consent form, and complete the entire study process. The trial is not yet recruiting, but when it begins, it will involve using the app to answer questions about muscle strength and function. This is a non-invasive and easy way to screen for muscle health, which could help with early detection and better care in the future.
