ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a 9-month program combining yoga-based mindfulness, brain exercises, and nutrition advice can help improve thinking skills, physical fitness, and brain health in older adults who may be at higher risk for Alzheimer’s disease. The researchers will also look at changes in a blood marker related to brain damage called tau protein.
People aged 60 to 80 who have noticed memory or thinking problems, or have been diagnosed with mild cognitive issues, may be eligible to join if they meet certain health criteria and can commit to the full program. Participants will take part in activities like mindfulness yoga, cognitive training, and receive guidance on diet and time-restricted eating (eating within certain hours). This study aims to see if these lifestyle changes can support brain health and slow down memory decline. It’s important to note that people with serious health problems, recent strokes, or certain medications might not qualify. The study is currently recruiting volunteers and welcomes all genders.
