ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a program called Ta'am Mustadam, designed to help adults make healthier and more environmentally friendly food choices. The study wants to see if the program encourages people to eat more fruits, vegetables, and plant-based foods while cutting down on red and processed meats. It will also look at whether the program improves participants’ knowledge and habits around sustainable eating, and how it might affect their overall energy and nutrient intake.
Adults who are undergraduate or postgraduate students and who regularly eat at the CMHS canteen (at least one meal a week) may be eligible to join. People with certain food allergies, medical conditions that affect eating habits, those on specific medications, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those already following vegan or vegetarian diets will not be able to participate. If selected, participants will join a 6-week program that includes educational messages, interactive cooking videos, and hands-on activities, followed by a 4-week follow-up. They will also complete surveys before, right after, and one month after the program to help researchers understand how well the program works and if it could be used in everyday life.
