ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying new creative tools designed to help healthcare professionals talk more easily and openly with children and teenagers who may be having thoughts of suicide. Since many young people experience these difficult feelings, it’s important for professionals to have good ways to start conversations about them. The tools are being developed together with youth care workers and young people who have personal experience with suicidal thoughts, to make sure they really meet the needs of both helpers and young people. The goal is to support professionals in understanding risks and creating safety plans to keep young people safe.
The trial is looking for healthcare professionals in mental health care—like doctors, psychologists, or nurses—who work with children or teens facing these challenges. Participants will use the creative materials in their work for three months and then share their feedback through a short questionnaire. This feedback will help improve the tools to make them easier and more useful in real-life situations. The study is currently open for enrollment, and participants need to be 18 or older, work with young people struggling with suicidal thoughts, and be able to use Dutch online materials.
