ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether an online program teaching good sleep habits (called sleep hygiene) works just as well as an in-person program to help medical students improve their sleep and mental health. Poor sleep can affect mood and overall well-being, so the study aims to find the best way to support students who struggle with sleep problems.
To take part, students must be enrolled at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán and have poor sleep quality based on a sleep questionnaire. They also need to have access to the internet and be able to commit the time needed for the program. Students in their internship or social service year, those who are pregnant, have children, are currently in psychological therapy, regularly take medications for sleep or mood issues, or work night shifts cannot join. Participants will either follow the sleep program online or attend it face-to-face, and the study will compare which method helps improve their sleep and mental health the most. This study has not started recruiting yet but aims to find convenient and effective ways to support medical students’ well-being.
