ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how standing and gentle vibrations affect a natural reflex in the leg called the H-reflex, which helps control muscle activity and balance. Researchers want to learn more about how the nervous system and bones work together to keep us steady and moving well while standing. To do this, they will measure electrical signals in a calf muscle of healthy adults as they stand still or experience mild vibration.
The study is looking for healthy adults between 20 and 45 years old who can stand on their own for at least 10 minutes and do not have any problems with their nerves, muscles, or balance. Participants will be asked to stand quietly or with gentle whole-body vibrations while special sensors record muscle responses. This is a non-invasive test, meaning no surgery or injections are involved. If you meet the criteria and are interested, this study aims to help us understand balance and movement better, which could one day improve treatments for people with related health issues.
