ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating and testing a French version of a questionnaire called the MQOL, which helps measure the quality of life in people with meningiomas. Meningiomas are a type of brain tumor that can affect not just physical health but also emotional and social well-being. While there is already a questionnaire in English to understand how these tumors impact patients’ lives, it hasn’t been translated into French yet. This study will first translate and make sure the French version reads well, then test it with 50 patients who have meningiomas to confirm it works well and gives reliable results.
If you are 18 years or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of a meningioma (a brain tumor), you could be eligible to take part in this study. Participants will be asked to complete the translated questionnaire along with other well-known health surveys to help researchers see if the new French version accurately reflects patients’ experiences. It’s important to note that pregnant or breastfeeding women, people who don’t understand French well, or those under certain legal or psychiatric restrictions cannot join. This trial aims to give French-speaking patients and doctors a useful tool to better understand and improve quality of life for people living with meningiomas.
