ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special rehabilitation program might help people with Long COVID, a condition where symptoms last for weeks or months after the initial COVID-19 infection. The researchers want to see if this program, which includes exercises for the heart, muscles, and breathing, can improve how the nervous system controls the heart and reduce signs of inflammation and heart stress in the body. These changes are measured through tests like heart rate variability (how well the heart adapts to different situations) and certain blood markers related to heart and inflammation.
People who might be eligible for this study are adults aged 20 to 59 who have been diagnosed with Long COVID and continue to have at least one symptom related to their previous COVID-19 infection. Participants should not have certain conditions like a pacemaker, lung problems, anemia, or be taking medications that affect heart rate control. If you join the study, you can expect to take part in about 20 sessions of guided exercise and breathing therapy at a clinic, where your heart and blood health will be carefully monitored. The goal is to see if this rehabilitation can help improve symptoms and overall heart and nervous system function in Long COVID patients.
