ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on studying how experimental substances, called ligands, attach to human tissues. Researchers will use pieces of tissue collected during surgeries to see how well these substances bind to different tissues outside the body (this is called "ex vivo" testing). The goal is to develop a safe and ethical way to evaluate these substances early on, which can help improve future medical treatments without needing to test directly on patients right away.
People who might be included in this study are those who had surgery at Nancy University Hospital after 2019 and did not object to their leftover tissue samples being used for research. The tissue samples used are fully anonymized, meaning all personal information is removed to protect privacy. Since this study uses existing tissue samples, participants won’t undergo any new procedures or treatments. It’s important to know that only well-preserved tissue samples that meet certain quality standards will be used, and patients always have the right to refuse the use of their tissue for research.
