ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a special exercise program combined with gentle muscle vibrations can help older adults improve their muscle strength, balance, overall fitness, and brain function. The program includes aerobic exercises (like walking or light cardio), strength training, and balance activities, all tailored to each person’s abilities to keep them safe and get the best results. The muscle vibration therapy uses small devices placed on the legs that create mild vibrations to stimulate the muscles without causing pain.
The study is looking for people over 75 years old who live in care facilities, can sit up on their own, and have a certain level of cognitive ability as measured by a simple memory and thinking test. Participants should not have serious, worsening diseases, uncontrolled heart or lung problems, cancer treatment, or severe hearing or vision loss. If eligible, participants will take part in these personalized exercise sessions with muscle vibration to see if this approach can reduce frailty, prevent falls, and improve quality of life. The study has not started recruiting yet, but it aims to help older adults stay stronger and healthier for longer.
