ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to care during the second stage of labor, which is the time when a woman is actively pushing to deliver her baby. The goal is to see if using a coordinated plan involving different healthcare professionals can improve delivery outcomes for mothers and babies.
Women who might be eligible to join are first-time mothers over 18 years old, with a healthy pregnancy of at least 38 weeks, and who are expected to have a normal vaginal birth. Women with high-risk pregnancies, medical or psychological conditions, or those likely to need a cesarean section are not eligible. If you participate, you can expect your care team to work closely together during the pushing stage to provide coordinated support. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it hopes to help improve the experience and safety of childbirth for many women.
