ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the best way to treat bone infections caused by a specific type of bacteria called Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The researchers want to find out if using just one antibiotic medicine is as good as using two antibiotics together in curing these infections. They will also look at important factors like side effects, whether patients need more surgeries, the chance of bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics, and how much medicine is used overall.
Adults who have been diagnosed with this kind of bone infection, confirmed by lab tests and imaging like X-rays or MRIs, may be eligible to join. If you have a confirmed Pseudomonas bone infection, you might be invited to participate. During the study, patients will receive either one antibiotic or a combination of two, and doctors will closely monitor how well the treatment works and if there are any problems. This study is currently looking for participants and includes adults of all genders aged 18 and older.
