ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a special toothpaste and mouthwash containing a natural tooth-repairing ingredient called biomimetic hydroxyapatite can help reduce tooth sensitivity in people who have gum recession (where the gums pull back from the teeth). The study will include about 100 adults aged 18 to 70 who have both gum recession and sensitive teeth. Participants will be randomly divided into two groups: one group will use a toothpaste called Biorepair Total Protection, and the other will use a Biorepair high-density mouthwash. Both products will be used for 30 seconds, and the researchers will measure how sensitive the teeth feel before and after using these products.
If you join the study, you can expect to use either the toothpaste or the mouthwash as directed, and your tooth sensitivity will be tested using simple tools like an air test and a pain scale. To participate, you need to be an adult with gum recession and sensitive teeth, and willing to give written consent. People without tooth sensitivity or gum recession, or those who aren’t motivated to follow the study steps, won’t be eligible. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find an easy and effective way to help people with sensitive teeth caused by gum problems.
