ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common chronic insomnia (long-term sleep problems) is among adults who have chronic non-cancer pain—that is, pain lasting more than three months that is not related to cancer. Since pain and sleep affect each other, poor sleep can make pain worse, and ongoing pain can make it harder to sleep well. Understanding how many people with long-term pain also struggle with insomnia can help doctors develop better treatments that address both pain and sleep together.
People eligible for this study are adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with chronic non-cancer pain and are currently receiving care from a pain specialist or pain clinic. Participants need to be able to understand the study and agree to take part by signing a consent form. Those who might have trouble following the study requirements may not be included. If you join, you can expect to share information about your pain and sleep habits, helping researchers learn more about how these issues are connected. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to improve care for people dealing with both pain and sleep difficulties.
