ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether progressive relaxation exercises can help reduce pain and tiredness in people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a long-term condition that mainly affects the spine and joints, causing stiffness and discomfort. The goal is to see if these exercises can improve daily life by easing symptoms that often make it hard for people to do everyday activities and enjoy their usual routines.
Adults diagnosed with AS who are interested in joining and have access to the internet may be eligible to participate. People with certain conditions, like serious orthopedic problems that stop them from doing the exercises, pregnancy, or certain mental health or memory concerns, might not be able to join. Participants will take part in relaxation exercises designed to help manage their pain and fatigue, with support provided online. This study is not yet open for enrollment, but it aims to offer a simple, non-drug way to help people with AS feel better and improve their quality of life.
