ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a special exercise and lifestyle program delivered through video calls to veterans living with blood cancers. The goal is to see if this remote program can help improve their overall quality of life, including mental health and pain levels, especially for those who may live far from medical centers or have limited access to in-person care. The program includes guided exercise sessions led by a health coach and nutrition advice provided separately by a cancer support organization.

Veterans who have blood cancer and are able and willing to do 30 to 90 minutes of exercise at least twice a week may be eligible to join. Participants will use a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet to connect with their coach through a secure video app. They’ll start with a live, supervised exercise session and continue with regular remote sessions, where the coach adjusts the workouts based on how they’re feeling. The trial also helps those less familiar with technology learn how to use the video app before starting. Throughout the study, participants will answer surveys about their symptoms, mood, and how easy the program is to use. This helps researchers understand if the program works well and fits the needs of veterans with blood cancer.
