ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying new, non-surgical ways to help keep the neck bent forward and reduce tension on the area where the windpipe (trachea) is surgically joined back together after part of it is removed. This is important because after tracheal surgery, keeping the neck in a certain position can help the healing process and prevent complications. The study aims to find easier and safer methods to support the neck during recovery without using invasive treatments.
People who might join this trial include children and adults who need surgery to remove part of their windpipe due to either non-cancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant) conditions. However, those who have had previous neck spine surgery or have certain spine deformities cannot participate. If you take part, you can expect the medical team to try these new techniques to support your neck after surgery and closely monitor your healing. This trial could help improve recovery for future patients who need this type of surgery.
