ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special online program designed to help women with mild to moderate depression. The program combines online lessons about depression and women’s health with personal video sessions with a psychologist. Over 10 weeks, participants will learn about topics like mood changes related to the menstrual cycle, body image, stress, caregiving, and how gender-related experiences can affect mental health. The study aims to see if this personalized approach helps improve depression more than just watching short educational videos, while still continuing any usual treatments.
Women between 18 and 45 years old, who have mild to moderate symptoms of depression and can speak Spanish, may be eligible to join. Participants will need internet access and basic skills with digital devices like a smartphone or computer. The study will also collect biological samples to understand how hormones and metabolism might affect how well the program works. This research hopes to make mental health care more accessible and tailored to women’s needs in the future.
