ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different tests that measure how well patients recover their physical abilities after heart bypass surgery (called CABG). Researchers want to find out which test best shows improvements in patients’ ability to move and function during their recovery. The tests include simple activities like standing up from a chair multiple times, walking for a set amount of time, and a timed “get up and go” task.
People who might join the study are men or women between 30 and 50 years old who have recently had CABG surgery and are able to move around by themselves. Participants will be tested a few days after their surgery to see how well they are recovering. The study will not include anyone who has serious medical problems, unstable health, memory or thinking issues, or conditions that affect walking or balance. This research is not yet recruiting participants but aims to help doctors better understand how to track recovery after heart surgery.
