ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatment methods to help people with Upper Cross Syndrome, a condition that causes tightness and pain in the neck and shoulders. The trial focuses on IT professionals who often work long hours at a computer and may develop this condition. The goal is to see which treatment—either neuromuscular reeducation (a therapy that helps retrain muscles) or post facilitation stretch technique (a special kind of stretching)—works better to reduce pain and improve movement.
To join the study, participants need to be IT professionals between 20 and 40 years old, experiencing Upper Cross Syndrome pain for at least two months, and working at least 4 to 6 hours a day. People with a history of serious neck injury or fractures are not eligible. If you take part, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and have your progress monitored to see how well it helps with your symptoms. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you fit the criteria and want to learn more, this could be an opportunity to find relief from your neck and shoulder discomfort.
