ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different types of exercises to see which one helps better with mechanical neck pain, a common problem that can cause ongoing discomfort and sometimes symptoms like dizziness. The study will compare Kendall exercises, which focus on specific neck muscle movements, with scapular stabilization exercises, which aim to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder blade to support the neck.
Adults between 20 and 40 years old who have had neck pain lasting at least 12 weeks, especially pain triggered by certain neck positions or movements, may be eligible to join. People with a history of neck injury, surgery, fractures, or nerve problems won’t be able to participate. If you join, you can expect to do guided exercise sessions focused on either neck or shoulder blade muscles to see which approach helps reduce pain and improve neck function. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find better ways to manage long-term neck pain.
