ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a heart ultrasound test called transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) can help doctors better manage people who have stable chest pain that might be caused by blocked heart arteries. The goal is to see if using TTE can lead to better decisions about further tests and treatments, and if it can reduce the chances of serious heart problems in the future.
People who might join this study are adults 18 years or older who have stable chest pain and have been sent for a TTE to check for possible blocked arteries. However, the study does not include those who have had recent heart attacks, previous heart artery treatments, irregular heart rhythms, or other serious heart conditions. If you join, you will have the TTE test done following usual procedures, and your care will be guided by the results to help doctors decide the best next steps for your treatment. The study is currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74 of any gender.
