ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a technique called a sacral canal block to see if it can safely help lower blood pressure during hip replacement surgery in older adults. Lowering blood pressure in a controlled way during surgery may reduce risks and improve recovery, and this study wants to find out if this method is a good and safe option for patients having hip surgery.

The trial is looking for people over 45 years old who are generally in fair health (based on certain health assessments) and have a body weight within a specific range. Participants need to agree to take part and be able to communicate well during the study. If you join, you can expect to receive the sacral canal block during your hip replacement surgery while doctors carefully control your blood pressure. The study is currently recruiting patients, and the goal is to find better ways to manage blood pressure and pain after hip surgery safely.
