ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well a new Arabic version of a questionnaire works for people who have long-lasting shoulder pain. The questionnaire is called the Fremantle Shoulder Awareness Questionnaire, and it helps to understand how people feel and are aware of their shoulder problems. The researchers want to make sure that the Arabic translation is reliable and useful for patients who speak Arabic.
People who might be eligible to join this study are adults aged 18 or older who have had shoulder pain for more than three months. To be included, their shoulder pain needs to show up in at least three specific clinical tests that doctors use to check shoulder problems. Participants must be able to read and write in Arabic and be fully alert and aware. The study does not include people who have had shoulder surgery, have serious shoulder injuries, very limited shoulder movement, or other serious neck or bone problems. If you join, you’ll likely be asked to complete the questionnaire and possibly undergo some simple clinical assessments to see how well the Arabic version works in measuring your shoulder awareness and pain experience. This study aims to help improve tools for better understanding and managing chronic shoulder pain in Arabic-speaking patients.
