ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how paying close attention to pain before vaginal surgery might affect pain levels, bladder and bowel function, and sexual life after the surgery. Researchers will compare these areas both before and after the surgery to better understand their relationship. Women who are between 18 and 40 years old, can read and write in Turkish, and are having vaginal surgery may be able to participate. However, women with certain health conditions—like chronic pelvic pain, infections, or neurological issues—that could affect pain or sexual activity won’t be eligible.
If you join the study, you will be asked to answer some questionnaires about your pain, bladder and bowel health, and sexual function before and after your surgery. Your pain after surgery will also be measured using a simple scale. This information will help doctors learn more about how focusing on pain before surgery might influence recovery and quality of life afterward. The study is not yet recruiting participants, so if you’re interested, it’s good to keep an eye out for updates.
