ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different ways to attach dentures to implants in the lower jaw for people who have lost all their lower teeth. All participants will receive three dental implants to help hold a lower denture in place. The study compares a traditional bar attachment with a newer bar design that includes a small cap called an OT Cap, which may improve how well the denture stays put and feels comfortable. Researchers want to see which method works better by looking at how securely the dentures stay, how much bone around the implants is lost over time, how much the attachments wear down, and how happy patients are with their dentures.
People who might join the study are healthy adults aged 30 to 65 who have no lower teeth and enough bone in their lower jaw to support implants. Participants should not have certain conditions like severe jaw problems, heavy smoking habits, or health issues that affect healing. During the study, participants will get new dentures attached to implants and will be checked at the start and after six months to measure denture fit, wear of the attachments, bone health using X-rays, and their satisfaction through a short questionnaire. This study aims to help dentists and patients choose the best attachment method for comfortable, long-lasting dentures.
