ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help women with urinary incontinence, which means having trouble controlling bladder leaks. The study is testing whether using virtual reality (VR) can improve pelvic floor muscle exercises. These exercises strengthen the muscles that support the bladder and help reduce leaks. With VR, women can see their muscle activity in real time and interact with the program, which may make the exercises easier to do correctly and more motivating compared to usual treatment methods.
Women who are between 50 and 80 years old, have been post-menopausal for at least a year, and have mild to moderate urinary incontinence may be eligible to join. Participants should not have serious bladder problems, infections, or other health issues that affect bladder control. Women who take part will use the VR system to guide their pelvic floor exercises and the researchers will check if this helps improve their symptoms. The study is not yet recruiting, but it offers a promising new approach to managing urinary incontinence with the support of technology.
