ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a special type of exercise called neuroathletic exercise might help healthy older adults improve their walking speed, reduce their risk of falling, and boost their thinking skills. The study will include people aged 60 to 80 who are generally healthy and able to do physical and mental tests. To take part, participants should not have recent injuries, regular exercise habits, or any health problems that would make exercise difficult.

If you join the study, you will be randomly placed into one of two groups. One group will do supervised neuroathletic exercises twice a week for 12 weeks, plus some exercises at home once a week. The other group will receive general physical activity advice based on Turkish guidelines. Everyone will have tests before and after the program to measure walking ability, risk of falling, mood, and thinking skills. This study hopes to provide new information on how these exercises can help older adults stay active and healthy.
