Adults who are 18 years or older and are scheduled for major liver surgery—like removing part of the liver or a liver transplant—can join the study if they agree to participate. If you take part, your medical team will collect information about your heart and lung function before and after surgery, which will help the researchers develop and test the early-warning system. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to create a safer experience for people undergoing liver surgery by catching lung issues sooner.

- • Undergoing major liver surgery (including two-segment or more hepatectomy, liver transplantation, etc.)
- • Voluntary participation with signed informed consent
