ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new way to carefully manage blood pressure and heart function during a major surgery called cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC, which is used to treat ovarian cancer. This surgery is complicated and can sometimes cause issues like low blood pressure, kidney problems, or fluid buildup in the lungs afterward. The study is testing a special monitoring system that uses artificial intelligence to help doctors better control blood flow and fluid levels during the operation. The goal is to reduce episodes of low blood pressure and keep the heart working well throughout the surgery, which may help improve recovery.

Women over 18 years old who are scheduled to have this surgery for ovarian cancer may be eligible to join the study, as long as they don’t have certain heart rhythm problems, are not pregnant, and agree to participate. If you take part, your medical team will use this advanced monitoring system during your surgery to guide treatment decisions. Your results will be compared with past patients who had the same surgery but were managed with the usual methods. This study is not yet recruiting participants but aims to find better ways to keep patients stable during this complex operation.
