ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying ways to help older adults maintain and improve their mental and thinking health as they age. Since feeling stressed and changes in memory or thinking skills often affect each other, the study is testing different programs to see which ones work best to support both mental well-being and brain health. The programs include stress management training, cognitive exercises focused on lifestyle and behavior changes, a combination of both, or a control group that listens to podcasts and discusses them. These sessions happen in groups in person, and most participants will also use a digital platform at home to practice on their own.
To take part, you need to be 65 years or older, speak and read either French or German (depending on where you live in Switzerland), and be able to use a digital device like a tablet or computer since part of the training is online. The study will check participants’ mental and cognitive health before the program starts, right after it ends (10 weeks), and then again at 2 and 6 months later to see how things change over time. This study is not yet recruiting participants but aims to find effective and easy-to-access ways to help older adults stay mentally and cognitively healthy.
