ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how first-time mothers (women having their first baby) experience vaginal delivery. Researchers want to better understand why these women sometimes face more challenges during labor, such as needing emergency cesarean sections (a surgical delivery) or the use of special tools to help the baby be born. The goal is to learn more about these births to improve care and support for first-time moms.
Women who are having their first baby, carrying just one baby, and are at least 28 weeks pregnant may be eligible to join the study if they are admitted to the hospital for delivery and agree to participate. The study is not yet open for participants. If you join, you can expect the researchers to observe and collect information about your delivery to help identify ways to make labor safer and easier for first-time mothers. Women who have had previous births, are expecting twins or more, or choose not to participate will not be included.
