ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new computer tool designed to help nurses make decisions when caring for children in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The goal is to see how this tool affects nurses’ decision-making and their opinions about using such technology in their daily work. This could help improve how care is given to very sick children in the hospital.
Nurses who have worked in intensive care for at least six months and who are currently providing direct care to patients may be eligible to join the study. Nurses must also choose to participate voluntarily and should not be on temporary leave, such as maternity or unpaid leave. If they take part, nurses can expect to use the decision support system while doing their usual work and share their thoughts about how helpful it is. This study is not yet recruiting participants but aims to better understand how technology can support nurses in critical care settings.
