ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at the skin around the eyes, an area that changes a lot as we get older. Researchers want to better understand how this skin moves and changes over time, especially when using different treatments like tightening creams or massages. To do this, they will use a special technology called Motion Capture (MoCap), which can precisely measure how the skin behaves. The goal is to see if this technology works well compared to older methods and to learn more about how aging and treatments affect the skin near the eyes. This information could help improve both medical care and cosmetic treatments in the future.
Women between the ages of 18 and 65 who are Caucasian with lighter skin types, and who are generally healthy with a normal body weight, may be able to join the study. Participants should not smoke, have had recent strong sun exposure, or have certain health conditions like serious skin problems or facial nerve issues. During the study, participants can expect to have small sensors placed on their skin to track its movement, and they may try different skin treatments to see how these affect the skin’s behavior. The study is not yet recruiting, but it aims to provide useful insights about the skin around the eyes and how it changes with age and care.
