ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at new ways to help treat periodontitis, which is a serious gum disease that can cause damage to the tissues supporting your teeth. The study compares two different materials—albumin and hyaluronic acid—used together with special concentrated growth factors to see which works better when added to regular non-surgical treatment. These growth factors are natural substances that help your body heal, and the researchers also want to understand how long and how much of these healing factors are released in the gums after treatment.
If you are between 25 and 45 years old, have stage II or III periodontitis (which means moderate to advanced gum disease), and are generally healthy without other medical conditions affecting the study, you might be eligible to participate. The study does not include people who smoke, have poor oral hygiene, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had periodontal treatment in the last six months. Participants will receive non-surgical treatment for their gum disease along with one of the two materials being tested, and the researchers will monitor their healing progress over time. This study aims to find better ways to support gum healing and improve care for people with periodontitis.
