ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying new ways to use heart imaging, specifically MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), to better understand different heart conditions like heart failure, valve problems, and irregular heartbeats. The researchers have developed advanced MRI techniques that can look closely at the tiny structures in the heart muscle, which may help detect heart damage earlier than current tests. They want to see how well these new MRI methods work compared to traditional blood tests and other markers used to check heart health.
Adults aged 18 and older who can give written consent may be eligible to participate, but certain groups, such as prisoners or people who cannot make decisions for themselves, will not be included. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo specialized MRI scans of your heart. This imaging does not use harmful radiation and can provide detailed pictures of heart tissue. The goal is to learn more about heart disease and improve early detection and treatment in the future. The study is not yet recruiting participants but aims to include both patients with heart conditions and healthy individuals for comparison.
