ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how thyroid problems might be related to acute coronary syndrome (ACS), which is a group of conditions caused by reduced blood flow to the heart, like heart attacks. The study is being done at Sohag University Hospitals and is currently open for patients to join.
If you are over 20 years old and have recently been diagnosed with ACS, you might be eligible to take part. However, people who already have diagnosed thyroid problems being treated, severe heart failure, advanced cancer, or certain lung blood clots cannot join. Participants will have their thyroid health checked to better understand how it might affect heart problems. This research could help doctors learn more about the connection between thyroid health and heart conditions to improve future care.
